Rev. Gregory M. Jones is a native of Littleton NC, of Halifax County.  His home church is Springfield Baptist Church also located in Littleton where he was baptized at an early age. After completing high school he went on to earn BA's in History and Elementary Education at North Carolina Central University.   Upon accepting his call into the ministry, he enrolled in Shaw University Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity.  While staying in Durham, he and his family joined the West Durham Baptist Church family we they enjoyed years of fellowship.  Rev. Jones is now pastor of Blue Wing Baptist Church in Granville County, which is his first pastorate. Rev. Jones is a trained educator.  He was a classroom teacher for 10 years and after completing a School Administration program at NCCU, he now serves as an assistant principal in Durham Public Schools.  He is married to the love of his life Teresa D. Jones and has 2 beautiful little girls Lauren and Taylor. He is family man, a people person, and a humble servant of the Lord.
